The Learning Center! is a
tuition-free public charter school that does not
take a “one-size-fits-all” approach to educating
children.
Part of the
growing national movement to provide choice and
opportunity in education, charter schools are
empowered to create and implement instructional
methods that best suit the needs of each
student. The result of this choice is an
“out-of-the-box” approach to education,
promoting innovation, higher expectations and
real results. We have programs offered by no
other schools in our area, designed to enrich
your child’s educational experience and prepare
them for the future.

Multiple Learning Styles |

The Learning Center!, a K-8th N.C. Charter
School, offers a tuition-free, quality choice in
public education based on multi-learning styles that
produce real academic progress resulting in
independent learners. Free from many of the
regulatory and administrative restrictions facing
traditional public schools, charter schools are
empowered to create and implement instructional
methods that
best suit the needs of each student. |

Our extras include chorus, art, daily PE, REAL,
Garden-Based Learning and Far Out Food Ventures. We
also have an Electives program for 5th thru 8th
grades that currently includes these classes:
Drawing & Painting, The
Fabulous Fiber Tour, Swimming, Chess Club and Lego
Mindstorms. Please
