parent, grandparent, guardian of a child who is or has
attended The Learning Center!, she will pay $100 or 5%
of her commission earnings (whichever is greater) to The
Learning Center! at closing.

The North Carolina Writers’ Network West (Netwest) is
involved in several of our writers’ events each year.
Netwest provides unbiased judges to choose winners of
the annual Cherokee County Middle School Poetry and
Essay Contest. Additionally, Netwest and The Learning
Center! co-sponsor writers and story-tellers in an
open-to-the-public forum, hosted at the school’s Dining
Commons.
