1st Grade Science — Pumpkin Fun!

First graders carved pumpkins last week just in time for Halloween. What they didn’t realize while they were having so much fun was all that the teachers and volunteers were teaching them in the process. They estimated seed counts and spent lots of time learning how pumpkins grow. Today they will be tasting the 2,000 seeds they collected.  Happy Halloween!
