The Learning Center Charter School1st Grade STEM — Building the Tallest Tower
In Math workshop, first graders partnered up to see who could build the tallest tower with cups and index cards. As they learned about measurement and comparisons, they also learned about balance and alignment. Through trial and error they figured out how to construct a stable tower.
