The Learning Center Charter School2nd Grade – Groundhog Day Project
Second Grade celebrated Groundhog Dog by reading books and writing Groundhog Day predictions. Students also researched past predictions as well what real groundhog burrows look like. In STEM, the students constructed their own grounds hog burrows. Burrows had to include an entry, exit, and a sleeping chamber. Some students chose to add additional chambers as found in real groundhog burrows.
