3rd Grade Remembers 9/11

The 3rd grade class worked together with Ms. Carrie to create a stepping stone as a remembrance of 9/11 for the school. The students first worked with clear stones decorating the backs with glitter and nail polish. These were then placed into the wet mold of the stepping stone. Afterwards the students used a bigger clear stone to make for themselves. These had a magnet placed on the back to keep on their fridge at home.  Later that day the students learned about heroes from 9/11 including animal heroes and created a paper remembrance quilt.
