5th Graders Builds Bird Nests

Fifth graders recently built bird nests as part of their Muddy Sneakers excursions this school year. As you know, most trips are outdoors around our community to places like Fires Creek, Hanging Dog, and along riverbanks. However, this session was held virtually.

Students quickly learned that building bird nests is tricky! It also made students curious about different types of birds in different climates and what nesting material they use.
