The Learning Center Charter School6th Grade Makes Water Filters
Sixth grade students have been working several weeks on designing a simple water filter to filter out dirty water they created in class. Recently they built and tested their water filters. As you can see in the pictures, students collaborated on a design in the classroom, then worked outside to create their filters. The resulting water turned out to be cleanest when the water was poured through the filter several times.
