The Learning Center Charter School7th Grade and Kindergarten Design and Test Solar Ovens
Prior to the school wide STEM day, seventh grade and kindergarten engineers designed and tested solar ovens. Sunny weather was helpful on their first trial, in which they recorded the maximum temperature reached inside their ovens. Next they will make modifications and test again, repeatedly working through the engineering design cycle to create a final design for the school wide STEM day.
