Baby chicks visit grades K-2

Mr. Arthur recently visited kindergarten through second grade with some special feathery friends.

Mr. Arthur had models of each day of a chick incubation period from day 1 through day 21.    Students were able to actually see the egg tooth and how a chick breaks out of the egg shell.

Then it was time to see the live babies!

The kids had a ball and it was a welcome opportunity to review all they had learned during their studies of birds.
