Kids Inventor’s Bootcamp. A cure for, “Mom! I’m Bored!”

Now in it’s second successful year, The Learning Center! Charter School once again offers“Inventor’s Bootcamp” – a cure for the summertime boredom blues. Save the dates for your child to participate on June 15-18 at the school for themed enrichment offerings designed to challenge students and keep their thinking skills in tip-top condition over the summer break.

Murphy is one of 3 states chosen for participation in Inventor’s Boot Camp

Middle school and high school students can participate in “Inventor’s Boot Camp”, a special traveling summer program created by a high-tech company called, Table Top Inventing. Table Top Inventing owner, Steve Kurti grew up in Franklin, NC, and he is excited to come back home and do what he loves. The program starts in California, then travels to Atlanta, GA, Chattanooga, TN, and Murphy, NC.

Murphy area students will be immersed in hands-on learning using emerging technologies such as 3D printing, 3D design, artificial intelligence, and physical computing - in an action-packed themed scenario.

If you’re a parent who is tired of hearing, “there’s nothing to do!” during summer break, then this is an opportunity worth checking into. SAVE THE DATES: JUNE 15-18.
