Recently Kindergarteners went to the Georgia Mountain Research and Educational Center and learned all about apples. First they met and talked to Johnny Appleseed.
Then students got to fill a box with apples as they learned the proper way to pick an apple.
Then students got to take a wagon ride while they learned what animals are friends and enemies of apple trees.
Students also preformed an interactive story about animals who picked apples. They even got to toss and count apples and compare the numbers of how many tossed in and out of a hoop. Finally they learned about the importance of bees and how they help apples to grow.
